FX55 Distortion

FX55 Distortion, from late 1983

The FX55 Distortion was based on the FX50 Overdrive Preamp, initially sharing the same undersized (3.125" x 2.25") circuit board but with somewhat greater gain. The FX55 was one of the original ten DOD FX-series pedals that debuted in 1982, but it was discontinued with the introduction of the FX55B in early 1986.
